# What is a drop rack?

**What is a drop rack?**

A droprack is a speciality, premium, brand of roof rack designed with the unique ability to lower the racks to a safer, more user-friendly height.

Drop racks are perfect for when you need to load heavy items, such as kayaks, or bikes, or reaching the roof racks on your tall vehicle is a challenge.

The unique ability to lower the racks allows for the loading and removal of heavy items with ease, saving the hassle of lifting your awkward and heavy items onto your roof.
