Purchasing Keys

We offer replacement keys for our roof racks to help you get back on the road with ease.

The simplest way to find the correct key is by using the Key Finder tool on our homepage. Just enter the key number stamped on your lock barrel, and the tool will display all matching key options.

Be sure to select the key that corresponds to your specific roof rack brand, and we'll ship it out to you as quickly as possible.

Please note that all keys will be shipped via an Auspost letter, unfortunately, this means there will be no tracking for your order - this may take up to 10 business days to be delivered. You can opt to have your key shipped via express post, this will get the key to you quicker and we will also be able to provide you with tracking details.

Yakima Keys

Yakima, unfortunately, does not engrave a key number on their lock barrels, which complicates finding you a replacement key. However, if you are nearby to one of our stores you can take the roof racks in-store to our team that can test the full range of Yakima keys to find the correct one. Otherwise, check your fitting instructions as it is recommended to record the key number here.

Thule Keys

Thule often have lock barrels/keys with a code that begins with N, followed by 3 numbers.

For example, if you have a Thule system with a lock barrel ‘N024’, the replacement key you require will be Thule Key N024.

Please note in some cases there will be Thule systems that do not have an engraved code on the lock barrels. In this case, if you are close to one of our store locations, you can bring the product into our team who can test the full range of Thule keys to find the correct one. 

Rhino Keys

Rhino-Rack has had a couple of different key versions over the years, both single-sided keys and double-sided keys. Those that are single-sided will have a 2-digit number while the double-sided will be a simple 3-digit number.

Keys for products that aren't roof racks

We do sell keys to match our roof rack accessories, and most brands can use the same keys that suit roof racks.

You can also purchase keys for Kanu Lock lockable tie-downs using our key finder.

If you are after a key for a toolbox, canopy, or other non-roof rack product it is possible that we can source this for you but by no means a guarantee that we can help.
