How do I store an awning when not in use?

Whether you’re using your vehicle for weekend getaways or the occasional beach trip, you might prefer to remove the awning when it’s not needed. Properly packing it away is key to keeping it in great condition.

Before storing, make sure the awning is thoroughly clean and completely dry. Packing it away while damp can lead to mould, mildew, and fabric deterioration over time. Give it time to air out fully, especially if it's been exposed to rain, salt spray, or dust.

Once dry, we recommend storing your awning in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated space. Avoid leaving it in hot or humid areas like garages without airflow, as this can increase wear and tear on the awning bag.

With the right care and storage, your awning will stay in excellent shape and be ready for your next adventure whenever you are. If you’re unsure how to remove or store your specific awning model, our team is happy to assist!
