Do I need tie-down straps, or does the carrier include them?

Most carriers will come with their own straps. For example, the “Rhino-Rack Nautic 580 Kayak Carrier” includes 2 straps for the body and a strap for both the bow and stern. Whilst it may be the norm for carriers to come with their own straps, it is not guaranteed. Always check the carrier you are interested in before purchasing. In the event they don't come included with the model you want, you can always purchase tie-down straps in a number of different styles and functions.
