Can I use roof bars if my vehicle has a sunroof?

In most cases, roof bars are compatible with vehicles equipped with a sunroof; however, compatibility can vary depending on the make and model.

Generally, our manufacturers do not recommend operating the sunroof while roof bars are installed.

If your vehicle's sunroof retracts internally (into the roof), it will typically remain functional with roof bars in place. However, if the sunroof tilts or pops up and outwards, it may interfere with the roof bars and is not recommended for use with roof bars installed.

We strongly advise exercising caution the first time you operate your sunroof after installing roof bars. Before opening the sunroof, ensure there is sufficient clearance between the sunroof, the crossbars, and any mounting hardware.

Please note that opening the sunroof while roof bars are installed may result in increased wind noise, particularly at higher speeds.
